Ascot International School Japan opened in January, 2018. The school obtained the Cambridge International School Certification in the spring of 2022. The school presently has students ages 2 to 16 and is administering first GCSE exams for the students in the spring of 2023.

Ascot students develop their skills according to their needs in an attractive, family environment. Through Cambridge, a challenging international curriculum, our students can become adaptable lifelong learners in an increasingly changing world.

The Japanese language is taught to all students including beginning through native proficiency from Nursery and the students are encouraged and supported to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Tests to demonstrate their skills.

Starting in Early Years and presentlly up to Key Stage 4 in the IGCSE of the English National Curriculum, the school has established a momentum towards learning which is engaging, relevant and inspiring for our students.

Our intercultural ethos and cultural sensitivity, where every child is known and cherished, promotes respect for all within and beyond our school community. Our teachers and staff are presently from 5 continents which allows students to hear different English accents and experience many authentic cultures.
