For the first time, dedicated high quality international schooling is available in the Sanda area. Ascot International School Japan opened its Early Years section in January 2018 and is offering the Cambrindge International curriculum from May 2022.

Ascot was accepted into the Cambridge international group from May 2022. We have a great curriculum still in line with the English National Curriculum that allows us to better assess the students and give them a clear path with the GCSE exams and the A level exams.

At Ascot, we recognise and celebrate our location in Japan’s rich cultural setting. National holidays and significant festivals are a focus for learning about our country and its identity. We also offer a comprehensive Japanese Kindergarten and Elementary curriculum in tandem with our international English language curriculum. Students who graduate from Ascot will be dual language proficient and confident.
Future Paths
By utilizing Cambridge International Group-certified graduation qualifications and A-levels, it is possible to take the exams not only at overseas universities, but also at many national, public and private universities in Japan. Students can choose from a wide range of options according to their individual interests and wishes.
